Bouqa Research Station

Site

It is located in the governorate of Lattakia with an estimated area of 7500 m². It was established in the year 2009.

Objective:

Produce disease-resistant and drought-resistant fruit tree seedlings of (olives, almonds, pistachio and others).

Infrastructure:

• A greenhouse with an area of 400 m².
• Two hothouses with an area of 800 m² .
• A well-supplied nursery for fruit tree production.

Activities:

• Produce drought-resistant and pest-resistant fruit tree seedlings.
• Conduct researches and studies on fruit tree pests.
