ACSAD expert wins the second Prize of (AOAD) organization

Dr. Lutfi Mohamed Ahmed Mousa is an expert at the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Drylands (ACSAD) organization, won the second Prize in the field of improving the sheep breeds in Sudan for his joint research, which he presented to the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) ‘s Prize for the year 2019.

 

Dr. Mousa presented research entitled “Detection of the G1 mutation of GDF9 gene and its association with multi-embryos in three subspecies of Sudanese desert sheep”.

Twenty-three experts from 9 Arab countries participated in the competition for the organization’s Prize for the year 2019

Dr. Musa from the brotherly Republic of Sudan is working in ACSAD with an Arab group expert in the Directorate of Animal wealth, and he is the head of the genetic improvement department in ACSAD organization.

In turn, the Director-General of the Arab Centre, Dr. Nasr Edin Obaid, expresses his pride and gratification in all distinguished Arab experts who work in the organization and extends his best congratulations to Dr. Moussa for his valuable Prize
