Coming soon… New cooperation agreement between the Syrian Ministry of Agriculture and ACSAD

 The Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform of the Syrian Arab Republic, Engineer Ahmad Al-Qadiri, discussed with the Director-General of the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Drylands(ACSAD) Dr. Nasr Eddin Al-Obaid, the issues of cooperation between the two sides and the ways to enhance and develop it

During the meeting, which took place at the Syrian Ministry of Agriculture`s headquarter on 19/7/2020, the two sides discussed all areas of cooperation, in the presence of a delegation of heads of departments and programs in ACSAD, stressing the importance of livestock development, plant production, agricultural sector development in Syria, and the provision of advanced scientific, technical, and applied expertise available in ACSAD at various fields

The two sides agreed to prepare a cooperation agreement between them in various areas of common interest and to implement projects that would improve the income of farmers and livestock breeders in the Syrian countryside, to be signed soon.
