Discussions between ACSAD’s Director-General and the coordinator of the Spanish Organization against Hunger.
His Excellency, the Director-General of the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Drylands, Dr. Nasr Edin Obaid, and the technical coordinator between ACSAD and the Spanish Organization Action Against Hunger (AAH), Svetlana Cpustaian, discussed how to enhance the cooperation between both sides.
During the meeting taking place at ACSAD’s headquarters today, the implemented projects have been displayed in the field of emergency support for the damaged rural families from the crisis n the Syrian Arab Republic during the previous years, in cooperation between the two organizations.
The futuristic visions of implementing new sustainable development agriculture projects in Syria and ACSAD’s readiness to provide the full support and assistance to implement these projects in cooperating and coordinating with the Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform and relevant institutions have also been displayed.
Dr. Obaid expressed his appreciation for these projects’ great success and distinguished achievements in supporting the damaged rural families from the crisis in the Syrian Arab Republic.
He also emphasized that this assistance had a significant impact on those families’ return and association with their homes and stabilizing them in their villages; reintroducing them into the production cycle at the two fields plant and animal, which works on moving the sustainable development economic wheel.
In her turn, Mrs. Cpustaian expressed her appreciation for this fruitful cooperation between the two organizations and the facilities provided by ACSAD in all concessional fields to run projects in Syria. She promised more cooperation in the future.
