The refereed Arab Journal of Arid Environments has gained the Arab Impact Factor for 2021

The Editor-in-Chief of the refereed Arab Journal of Arid Environments issued by the Arab Centre/ACSAD, Dr Tharwat Habib Ibraheem, has announced that the Journal has gained the Arab Impact Factor (AIF) 2021 (23/2021) of 3.2, a significant and tangible increase over the previous year (1.3 to 3.2), attached to the calendar report for the past four years. That indicates the evolution of the mentioned Journal’s performance according to the required scientific norms. Note the fact that this factor is granted by Natural Science Publishing (NSP), which operates under the auspices of the Federation of Arab Universities, cooperating with some prominent sober scientific institutions inside and outside of the  Arab world, which is considered to be the most famous Arab Norm of the importance of the refereed Arab Journals. It is an indicator of the extent to which the Journal has been adopted and disseminated so that it is a well-regarded Journal in the Arab world. Furthermore, this factor provides a quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the Arab Journals’ top quality and sobriety specialized in various fields of human knowledge. The evolution of ACSAD’s Journal’s performance, as well as the positive evaluation of it during the past years, allow being selected within a specific number of Journals that gained that factor to be hosted on the “EBSCO” Base and Scopus Platform, which are two of the essential international Databases, according to the Agreement signed between Association of Arab University (AARU) and  Elsevier’s Scopus® Database. Also, the Editor-in-Chief mentioned that the ACSAD’s Journal had gained the membership of the Arab Impact Factor(AIF), which gives it many scientific privileges, notably the nomination to the distinguished Award of Arab Journal and having the Digital Object Identifier “DOI”, which gives authenticity to the Journal and increases the adoption of its data as quotable.

     Dr Ibraheem mentioned this new and outstanding achievement as a fruit of tenacious follow-up and sustained directions from the Arab Centre’s Director-General, Dr Nasr Edin Obaid, for the Editor-in-Chief on the need to develop the work of scientific journals issued by ACSAD. Moreover, expanding in publication to serve Arab scientific research is a significant step toward excellence that ACSAD gained more under his sober administration.
