The Refereed Arab Journal for Arid Environments Attains, for the Second Year, the Arab Impact Factor (AIF)

Dr. Tharwat Habib Ibrahim; the Managing Editor of the refereed Arab Journal for Arid Environments issued by the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD), has announced today 22/1/2018, that AAE attained, for the second year, the Arab Impact Factor (no. 177/2019) with an increase estimated at 30% in comparison with the last year. This indicates the development of the journal’s performance and work according to the required scientific standards.

Dr. Ibrahim added that the Impact Factor, offered by the Natural Sciences Publishing (NSP) which works under the patronage of the Association of Arab Universities in cooperation with some of the most prominent committed scientific institutions in the Arab World, is the most famous Arab indicator for the importance of the refereed scientific journals, and for the quality and prevalence of the journal and the extent of its recognition by the refereed journals in the Arab World; the fact that paves the way for its adoption by prominent Arab universities.

Furthermore, Dr. Ibrahim pointed out that this distinguished achievement is the product of the constant and generous efforts of His Excellency, Dr. Rafik Ali Saleh; Director General of ACSAD and Editor-in-Chief of the Arab Journal for Arid Environments, in addition to his continuous directions on the necessity of developing the work mechanism and wide-level prevalence of the scientific journals issued by the Arab Center (ACSAD) in a way that serves Arab scientific research and sustainable agricultural development.
