The Refereed Arab Journal for Arid Environments Attains the Arab Impact Factor (AIF) of Arab Journals Specialized in all Human Knowledge Fields
Dr. Tharwat Habib Ibrahim; the Managing Editor of the Arab Journal for Arid Environments issued by the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD), has announced that AAE got the Arab Impact Factor (no. 316/2018) on 13/3/2018.
Dr. Ibrahim pointed out that the Impact Factor is offered by the Natural Sciences Publishing (NSP) which works under the patronage of the Association of Arab Universities in cooperation with some of the most prominent sound scientific institutions inside and outside the Arab World.
He also assured that the Impact Factor (IF) is an indicator for the importance of the refereed scientific journals in their research specializations and reflects how far the new researches are referring to and quoting the previously-published ones. Thus, it is the most famous Arab measurement for the importance of the peer-reviewed journals in their research specializations and an indicator for the quality of the journal and the extent of its recognition by the refereed journals in the Arab World. It also reflects the academic importance and wide prevalence of the journal.
Furthermore, Dr. Ibrahim added that this certificate paves the way for the journal to be registered and adopted by prominent Arab universities and pointed out that this achievement is the product of the constant and generous efforts of His Excellency, Dr. Rafik Ali Saleh, Director General of ACSAD and Editor-in-Chief of the Arab Journal for Arid Environments, in addition to his continuous directions on the necessity of developing the work mechanism and wide-level prevalence of the scientific journals issued by the Arab Center (ACSAD).
